How should a thin-film evaporator be installed?
2021-05-07
A thin-film evaporator is a type of evaporator characterized by the material liquid flowing as a film along the heating tube wall for heat transfer and evaporation. Its advantages include high heat transfer efficiency, fast evaporation speed, and short material residence time, making it particularly suitable for evaporating heat-sensitive materials.

Thin-Film Evaporator Operating Procedure:
The product has undergone overall commissioning before leaving the factory. Users can hoist the equipment as a whole onto the equipment foundation. The equipment should be leveled overall; the leveling position can refer to the plane on the reducer frame. And fix the equipment to the floor or steel frame.
For larger equipment, to increase the stability of the equipment, horizontal auxiliary supports can be added to appropriate positions on the bottom flange. The auxiliary support points only restrict the radial displacement of the equipment and not its axial displacement. Prepare the pipelines according to process requirements, remove foreign objects, clean and replace the equipment, and connect the power supply.
The thin-film evaporator unit consists of three components: an evaporator, a vapor-liquid separator, and a preheater, and a simple separator. The evaporator is an ascending film type tubular heat exchanger. This evaporator features high production capacity, high efficiency, and short material heating time, suitable for concentrating dilute solutions in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. Parts of this equipment that contact the material are made of stainless steel, possessing good corrosion resistance, durability, and meeting pharmaceutical hygiene requirements.
