Oil tanks (SS, SF, FF)

2020-07-15

Double-walled oil tanks refer to three types: SS oil tanks, SF oil tanks, and FF oil tanks.

SF stands for steel-reinforced fiberglass double-walled storage tank. It consists of a single-layer steel oil tank with an additional layer of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) leak-proof outer shell, forming a double-walled structure. There is a communicating gap between the steel inner tank and the FRP outer tank;

FF stands for fiberglass-reinforced plastic double-walled oil tank. Both the inner and outer layers are made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, with a communicating gap in between;

It is also equipped with a leak detection device that can monitor the gap space 24 hours a day. Once a leak occurs in the inner or outer tank, the sensor of the leak detection device can detect the liquid level at the bottom of the gap space and issue an alarm, ensuring the safe use of the oil tank.
